Karolina Heyduk

I am an Assistant Professor at the University of Hawai'i at Mānoa and the Director of the Joseph F. Rock Herbarium. Broadly, my research integrates plant physiology and genomics in a comparative framework to understand evolution of plant adaptations to their environments. I have a particular love for photosynthetic pathway evolution, especially Crassulacean acid metabolism (CAM).

The lab is moving to the EEB department at UConn in January 2023!
