Karolina Heyduk

I am an Assistant Professor in the Ecology and Evolutionary Biology Department at the University of Connecticut and the Director of the George Safford Torrey Herbarium. Broadly, my research integrates plant physiology and genomics in a comparative framework to understand evolution of plant adaptations to their environments. I have a particular love for photosynthetic pathway evolution, especially Crassulacean acid metabolism (CAM).
